Event Briefs

The Department of Commerce celebrated World Entrepreneurship Day at Matoshree Ashatai Kunawar Arts, Commerce, Science and womens college, hinganghat. On this occasion, Prof. Ajay Beere, Head of the Marathi Department, was the chairman, Dr. Rajvilas Karmore, Principal of the Institute of Science and Technology were present as the chief guest, Dr. Sapna Jaiswal, Vice-Principal of womens college, Prof. Vaishali Tadas, Head of the Department of Commerce, were The chief guest, Dr. Karmore, while presenting his topic, guided the students about the importance of entrepreneurship, opportunities in the entrepreneurial sector, and the vision needed to set up their own business this year. He expressed the need for the youth to move towards employment creation instead of chasing jobs., Prof.  Ajay Bire expressed his hope that the world that is coming together with history will be that of entrepreneurs and that students will be encouraged for that. The students participated spontaneously in this program and got practical information through various question and answer sessions. The students expressed that this initiative has created awareness about entrepreneurship among the students and they have been inspired to start their own startups. The program was introduced by Prof. Mayur Gandhi, moderated by Prof. Roshni Narwade and the vote of thanks was given by Prof. Khushbu Katulwar.
