Event Objectives

  • The primary aim was to collect blood from voluntary donors to support local hospitals and blood banks in their life-saving efforts.
  • We sought to educate the community on the critical importance of blood donation, its benefits, and the impact it has on saving lives.
  • The camp served as a tribute to the life and work of Shri Pandurangji Tulaskar.

Event Outcomes

  • A total of units of blood were successfully collected, which will be sent to [local hospitals/blood banks] to support patients in need of blood transfusions.
  • Over  individuals registered as blood donors, many of whom were first-time donors. This reflects a positive trend in community engagement and a growing understanding of the importance of regular blood donations.
  • The camp saw a strong participation from youth volunteers, who not only helped organize and manage the event but also served as blood donors. This aligns with Shri Pandurangji’s belief in empowering young people to actively engage in social service.

Event Briefs

A blood donation camp was organized on December 8 by the Pandurang Tulsakar Group of Institutions in memory of the founder president of the Vidya Vikas Shikshan Sanstha, Late Pandurang Tulaskar, in collaboration with H.D.F.C. Bank (Jeevan Jyoti Blood Bank), Rotary Club Hinganghat, Red Ribbon Club, and National Service Scheme.

Dr. Umesh Tulaskar presided over the program, and the chief guests were Rotary Club President Pitambar Chandani, Rotary Club Secretary Manjusha Mule, member Dr. Ashok Mukhi, HDFC Bank Branch Manager Shrikant Solankar, This report summarizes the activities, outcomes, and impact of the blood donation camp, highlighting our efforts to promote women’s health and well-being in our college. The program was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Umesh Tulaskar,anchored by All faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students from the Arts, Commerce, and Science departments contributed to the program success.
