A study tour was organized by the Political Science Department of the Arts Faculty at Matoshri Ashatai Kunawar Arts, Commerce and Science Women’s College in Warora and Bhadravati.
The organizers of this study tour included the President of Vidya Vikas Sanstha and the Principal of the college, Dr. Umesh Tulsakar, along with the college’s Vice-Principal Dr. Sapna Jaiswal, Head of the Arts Department Prof. Bhagyashree Sable, Head of the Library Department Dr. Sunanda Girde, Prof. Pratibha Dubey, Prof. Sangeeta Landge, Prof. Asha Ghate, Prof. Meenakshi Pawade, and Prof. Anil Mankar.
At the beginning of the study tour, a visit was made to the leprosy center in Warora. Students visited various places in Anandwan, Warora, including the school for the deaf and mute, the wood carving department, the orchestra department, the handicrafts department, the wildlife sanctuary, and Baba Amte’s memorial, and were given information about them. The students also independently collected a lot of information.
Afterwards, they visited the Ganpati temple, Naga temple, Vijasan hill, and Jain temple in Bhadravati, where important information was provided.The college faculty and students actively participated in making the study tour a success.
