Department of Botany ___

The department of Botany was established in 2018. We have two CHB faculties Ms Harshda G Raut and Miss. Darshana S. Rendhe. In our department 25 instruments. Our lab is fulfilled with chemicals, glassware, materials, permanent slides, charts etc. In college library has 403 books of Botany and also form a sectional library of Botany. Sectional library has total 82 different books and journals. These books are handed over to students for regular use. The department has organized field study tour for the all B.Sc. students, for systematic introduction of plants & biodiversity, collection of material, vegetation study and other studies. Student are motivated and benefited by the field visit to improve the knowledge about taxonomy, medicinal plant & flora and fauna of local area. Modern teaching methods practiced and use of ICT in teaching – learning i.e. LCD Projector, Computer, Scanner, Internet facilities, etc available in department.
