To inspire students and citizens to follow his path, internalize his ideals, and work towards building an inclusive, harmonious, and empowered nation.Students will learn to critically engage with concepts and canonical texts

To commemorate the life, mission, and philosophy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution, and to pay respect to his immense contributions to the nation.

To propagate his powerful message of “Educate, Agitate, Organize” and to highlight education as the key tool for empowerment, self-respect, and positive social change.

Event Outcomes

The day serves to remember and pay tribute to Dr. Ambedkar’s lifelong contributions as the chief architect of the Indian Constitution, a social reformer, economist, and jurist.Generating an indigenous supply chain of personal protective equipment (PPE) kits

The day inspires new generations to be sensitive to social discrimination, advocate for inclusivity, and continue the struggle for the rights of Dalits, women, and laborers.

It highlights the critical importance of education as a tool for self-empowerment and social change, encouraging learning and the pursuit of knowledge among all communities

Matoshri Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Hinganghat, celebrated Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s “Mahaparinirvan Day” on December 6th.The Mahaparinirvan Day of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was organized on December 6th under the auspices of the Sociology Department of Matoshri Ashatai Kunawar Arts, Commerce and Science Women’s College.The program was attended by the President of Vidya Vikas Sanstha and Principal of the college, Dr. Umesh Tulaskar, chief guest speaker Prof. Pratibha Dubey, the program’s chairperson and Vice-Principal of the college, Dr. Sapna Jaiswal, and the Head of the Sociology Department, Prof. Meenakshi Pawade.The program began with the worship of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s image and the lighting of a lamp.The chief guest speaker, Prof. Pratibha Dubey, guided the students on “the life of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.” Dr. Sapna Jaiswal, who presided over the event, emphasized the importance of education in life.The program was compered by Prof. Meenakshi Pawade, the introductory remarks were given by Prof. Bhagyashree Sable, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Meenakshi Jidgilwar. The teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and students of the college actively participated in making this program a success.
