  • Commemorate those who have died from AIDS-related illnesses.
  • Fight discrimination and challenge inequalities that hinder effective responses.
  • Encourage testing, treatment and investment in HIV/AIDS programs.

Event Outcomes

  • Significant drops in AIDS-related deaths and new infections globally, with India showing major success (81.4% death reduction, 48.7% new infection drop since 2010).
  • Higher HIV testing rates and expanded access to  (ART) globally and in India, leading to better viral suppression..

Matoshri Ashatai Kunawar Arts, Commerce, and Science womens College, Hinganghat, On [05-12-2025], our college organized ‘AIDS’ awareness rally aimed at educating and empowering our students, HIV stand for human immuno deficiency virus which is the virus causes HIV infection the acronym HIV can referred to the viruses are the HIV infection HIV is a virus that attacks the body’s immune system, specifically the CD4+ T cells, which are crucial for fighting off infections. Without treatment, the immune system becomes severely damaged, making the body vulnerable to serious opportunistic infections and certain cancers. The Rally  was a collaborative effort between [NSS department and read ribbon club committee], with the objective of promoting AIDS awareness, providing free screening services, and fostering a supportive environment for students to discuss their health concerns. Dr.Ajay Lidbe provide important information about AIDS Awarness.

This report summarizes the activities, outcomes, and impact of the AIDS awareness Rally highlighting our efforts to promote student health and well-being in our college. The program was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Umesh Tulaskar,anchored by Prof. Bhagyashri sable, All faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students from the Arts, Commerce, and Science departments contributed to the program success.
