  • Tilak promoted the use of indigenous goods and advocated for a national education system that would foster patriotism and social progress.
  • Annabhau Sathe, a Dalit social reformer, dedicated his life to fighting for the rights and upliftment of marginalized communities.
  • He utilized literature, including novels, stories, and ballads, as powerful mediums to address social issues and inspire social change, according to the CSDS.

Cultural committee of Matoshri Ashatai Kunawar Arts Commerce & Science Women’s College, Hinganghat organized Lokshahir Annabahu Sathe Birth Anniversary & Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak Death Anniversary. On this memorable moment, president of this programme  was honorable Dr. Umesh Tulaskar sir. He lighted the life history of both great leader. Chief guest of this programme was honorable Ajay Bire Sir. He told about four principle of swaraj. Dr. Sapana  Jaiswal, Vice Principal of our college , inspired students to read thought of both great leader. Proceeding was done by Miss Sangita Landge. Anchoring was done by Miss Kiran Kashti. Vote of thanks was done by Khushbu Katulwar. Cultural committee members that is Miss Minakshi Jidgelwar,  Miss Tejswita Shahstrabudhe,  all faculty members and non teaching staff supported for this programme.
