Objectives of the Event:

Educate college students especially women about cervical cancer its causes symptoms risk factors and prevention methods.

Poster a culture that prioritize is women’s health and well being encouraging students to take charge of their health.

Contribute to a reduction in cervical cancer in incidence among college students and their wifer community.

Empower students to become health advocate promoting cervical cancer awareness and prevention in their communities.

Offer free cervical cancer vaccine test to college student staff and faculty members.

Screening and vaccination: A significant number of college students undergo free cervical cancer screening and HPV vaccination.

Introduction of the Event:

Matoshri Ashatai Kunawar Arts, Commerce, and Science womens College, Hinganghat, On [23-11-2024], our college organized a cervical cancer awareness and screening camp, aimed at educating and empowering our students, especially women, about cervical cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment. The camp was a collaborative effort between [NSS department and Health checkup committee], with the objective of promoting cervical health awareness, providing free screening services, and fostering a supportive environment for students to discuss their health concerns. Dr.Rekha katariya madm provide important information about cervical cancer vaccine.

This report summarizes the activities, outcomes, and impact of the cervical cancer awareness and screening camp, highlighting our efforts to promote women’s health and well-being in our college. The program was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Umesh Tulaskar,anchored by Prof. Bhagyashri sable, All faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students from the Arts, Commerce, and Science departments contributed to the program success.
