  • The physical act of kneading, shaping, and molding clay strengthens hand muscles and improves eye-hand coordination, which are essential for writing and other precise tasks.
  • The tactile nature of clay stimulates the sense of touch, allowing for exploration of textures, forms, and spatial relationships.

  • Conceptualizing and then creating a design from clay requires both analytical and creative thinking.

Event Briefs

Ganesh Idol-Making Competition was held by Home Economics Department.  Mr. Milind Savarkar guided the students on how to make Ganesh idols. In this workshop, students created a variety of attractive idols. While making the idols, they were also encouraged to understand the importance of environmental awareness. Anchoring was done by Miss Minakshi Pawade. Vote of thanks was done by Miss Asha Ghate. President of Vidya Vikas Education Society, Hinganghat honourable Dr. Umesh Tulaskar motivated the students for idol making competition.The program was successfully organized with the cooperation of all faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students from the Arts, Commerce, and Science departments of the college.
