Department of Zoology of Matoshri Ashatai Kunawar Art’s, Commerce & Science Women’s College, Hinganghat was organized School Students Visit on the occasion of National Science Day. The program was held on 27th feb 2025. The program was aimed to carry out for the development of young minds by developing critical thinking in children about various scientific processes in daily life.
For that purpose, students from two Schools from Hinganghat region were invited to visit Science labs in our College. Students of 3rd, 4th and 5th Std. from Brilliant CBSE School and 7th, 8th and 9th Std. from Vidya Vikas High school, Hinganghat were invited.
The Inaugural function was hosted by Ms. Shital Dharmik, Head of Science Department, Matoshri Ashatai Kunawar Art’s, Commerce & Science Women’s college, Hinganghat. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr. Nayana Shirbhate, Vice-Principal, Vidya Vikas College, Samudrapur, Dr. Umesh Tulaskar Sir, Principle of Matoshri Ashatai Kunawar Art’s, Commerce & Science Women’s college, Hinganghat. Mr. Nitesh Rode Sir, Principal of Vidya Vikas High School & Jr. College, Hinganghat, Mr. Abhay Dandekar Sir, Principal of Brilliant CBSC School, Hinganghat. The participation of esteemed guests added significance to the program and set the tone for the sessions to follow.
Ms. Pranita Ashtankar and Ms. Tejaswita Sahastrabuddhe welcomed the School students to the Institute and congratulated them for participating in such activity. Students of Zoology introduced our labs as well as educational models, posters and charts to children. They took upon their shoulders the greatest responsibility of introducing our Zoology lab. They introduced the school students and their teachers to the Vision and Mission of our Institute that focuses on providing quality education to all sectors of the society at an affordable cost.
