2. To know about various health issues in girls such as PCOD, Thyroid, Cervical cancer, menstrual problems and sexual abuse in women.

3. To raise a voice against sexual harassment at work place and in society.

Event Briefs

Department of Sciences, Matoshri Women’s college, Hinganghat organised a guest lecture on “Health awareness and sexual harassment” by Dr. Jaya Kore Tulsakar Madam. She gave an idea about how to maintain hygiene during menstrual phase as well as discussed about various diseases of women like PCOD, thyroid problems, cervical cancer etc. She also informed students about how to deal with sexual harassment at various places.
