Early detection.HIV testing can help people identify their HIV status early, which can lead to earlier treatment and better outcomes.

Reduced transmission

A person with HIV who gets and stays virally suppressed or undetectable has effectively no risk of sexually transmitting HIV to others.

On 04 December 2024, department of Zoology and Red Ribbon Club organized guest talk on the topic of ‘Removing Myths and Misconceptions about HIV’ by  Dr. Ajay Lidbe sir Counsellor of Sub-district Hospital, Hinganghat.HIV awareness is important because it can help prevent the spread of HIV and AIDS, and it can help people with HIV live healthy lives. The Red Ribbon is the universal symbol of awareness and support for people living with HIV. While you may be aware of HIV, it’s important to reflect on this disease that had such a large impact on past generations and how it’s shaping the future. .Dr. Umesh Tulaskar Sir principal of our college and IQAC coordinator Mr. Abhay Dandekar sir also guided students regarding HIV and health issues and Vote of thanks given by Ms. Sable madam.
