Event Briefs

Matoshri Aashatai Kunawar Arts, Commerce and Science Women’s College celebrated World Literacy Day with great enthusiasm under the banner of the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit. The program was presided over by Dr. Umesh Tulsakar, President of Vidya Vikas Sanstha and Principal of the College. The special presence of Vice-Principal Dr. Sapna Jaiswal, Head of Marathi Department Prof. Ajay Bire, and NSS Program Officer Prof. Bhagyashree Sable added significance to the event. On this occasion, a grand rally was organized from the college through the Balaji Town area. The NSS volunteers raised slogans, shared thoughts, and gave messages to create awareness about literacy. After the rally, the program began with an introduction by Prof. Pratibha Dubey. In his presidential address, Principal Dr. Umesh Tulsakar explained to the students the importance of literacy. Vice-Principal Dr. Sapna Jaiswal also guided the students on the subject of literacy. The program was anchored by Khemika Parkhi, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Shraddha Rajurkar. The collective efforts of the teaching faculty and students contributed to the grand success of the event.
