National Wildlife conservation week and World Animal Day Celebration

Department of Zoology organized Slogan competition and film screening activity on the occasion of ‘National wildlife conservation week ‘and ‘World Animal Day’.On dated 7 October 2024.World Animal Day reminds people of the importance of animals enriching our lives.It encourages people to learn about the challenges animals face and take steps to protect them.The National Wildlife Week is celebrated to raise awareness about the importance of wildlife conservation and to promote coexistence between humans and wildlife. The week also encourages people to take action to conserve the planet’s flora and fauna. The week is celebrated to coincide with the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and to follow his principles of Ahinsa and Compassion for all living beings.
