Event Outcomes

The Online Intellectual Property Rights Programme, provided a valuable platform for attendees to enhance their understanding of Intellectual Property Rights.

Participants involves in the programme gained valuable skills related to Intellectual property, Patent Law, Technology transfer and Entrepreneurship which can be beneficial for their carriers in Academia and industry.

Participants in the programme gained a better understanding of the Legal and Ethical aspects of Intellectual Property which is essential knowledge for anyone engaged in Research and Innovation.

Intellectual Property Right Programme corrodingly organized by Matoshri Ashatai Kunawar Arts, Commerce and Science Womens College, Hinganghat and Vidya Vikas College, Samudrapur was held on 7th October 2023 in online mode at Zoom Platform.

 

The programme commenced with a warm welcome by the Principal of Vidya Vikas College, Dr. Rewatkar, who expressed his enthusiasm for the event and highlighted the importance of intellectual property rights in today’s world. His inaugural address set the tone for an engaging and educative session ahead.

 

Dr. Ambatkar, organizing secretary of this programme, introduced Ms. Megha Agrawal to the virtual audience. Dr. Ambatkar briefly outlined Ms. Agrawal’s extensive experience as a Patent Agent and DST-TIFAC Women Scientist, emphasizing her significant contributions to the field of intellectual property rights.

 

Ms. Megha Agrawal began her session by discussing the importance of protecting one’s intellectual creations, be it a research paper or a novel invention. She elucidated the journey from a research paper to a patent, highlighting the steps and considerations involved in converting intellectual ideas into legally protected assets. A lively question and answer session followed the presentation, allowing participants to seek clarifications and gain deeper insights into specific IP-related queries.

 

The programme saw active participation from the faculty, research scholars, and postgraduate students from various disciplines. The organizing committee of this Workshop Dr. Manohar Ambatkar, Dr. Sapana Jaiswal played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of the programme. Their dedication and efforts deserve appreciation for making this event a resounding success.
