  1. Introducing the physical layout of the library (e.g., circulation desk, reference section, reading areas, digital zone).
  2. Explaining the use of the library catalog (OPAC) and other online databases.
  3. Providing access to and guidance on using e-resources and digital platforms.
  4. Highlighting the availability of specific collections, including reference materials

Event Outcomes

  1. Users become more proficient at finding, evaluating, and using information from various library resources, including both physical and digital materials.
  2. Library orientation helps users become more self-sufficient in navigating the library and locating the information they need.
  3. By developing strong information literacy skills, students can better support their future.

Event Briefs

Department of Library of Matoshri Ashatai Kunawar Arts, Commerce and Science Women’s College, Hinganghat. This programme organized for first year students to know rule and regulation of library.  On this occasion,  Dr. Umesh Tulaskar sir , principal Matoshri Ashatai Kunawar Art, Commerce & Science Women’s College, Hinganghat was president of this programme. Dr. Nayana Tulaskar Secretary of Vidya Vikas Education SocietyHinganghat Sapna Jaiswal Mam was president of this programme. She told that importance of library. Dr. Sunanda Girde Mam also presented in this programme and told rules and regulation of library. Anchoring was done by Pro. Minakshi Pawde Mam. Vote of thanks was done by prof. Dudhe Madam. All faculties members from Arts, Commerce and Science presented in this program.
