Poster Competition On the Occasion Of International day for the Prevention Of Ozone Layer.

On the occasion of International Day for the Preservation Of Ozone Layer is celebrated on 16 September each year. Matoshri Ashatai Kunawar Arts, Commerce & Science women’s college, Hinganghat, organized Ozone Layer Day and Poster Competition on 20 th September at 10:00 AM. The theme of Competition was “Montreal Protocol: fixing the ozone layer and reducing climate change”. For this program Judge was Prof. Sadanand R. Sarve Sir Vidya Vikas Art’s, Commerce and Science College Samudrapur. The purpose of this type of activity is to raise awareness about Ozone Layer. Posters provide visual, colourful, simple ways to communicate community. To understand the different processes that destroys ozone in the Earth’s atmosphere. To develop an understanding of the global trend towards ozone depletion, recovery and enlighten how citizens can help to reduce ozone depletion. Ms. Sneha Sangole and Ms. Megha Lende from Department of Physics conducted the competition. Students of B.Sc. make posters on Ozone layer.
