Event Objectives

To encourage the student and increasing general sensitivity, understanding and knowledge about gender (in)equality.

To create an open minded society.

To familiarize them with their constitutional rights and safeguards.

To work towards modifications of behavior by raising awareness of gender equality concerns.

To study the constitutional provisions to prevent gender injustice, inequality, bias and discrimination.

Event Outcomes

1.      To promote and encourage a general understanding of gender-related challenges.

2.      To deal with issues of “Gender Based Violence.

 

Event Briefs

Even today, women are facing incidents like harassment and molestation at the workplace. Violence against women is increasing day by day. Therefore, in order to stop the sexual exploitation of women in the workplace, a workshop was Science Women’s College, Hinganghat. As the chairman on the occasion. Dr.Umesh Tulsakar Principal,  organized on behalf of the internal Complaint committee at Matoshri Ashatai Kunawar Arts, Commerce and Matoshri Women’s College Hinganghat and as Chief Guest Advocate  Anita Joshi gave information about various clauses in the law and gave thorough guidance on it and also expressed valuable thoughts from her talk. Dr. Sapna Jaiswal, Vice Principal, Matoshri Women’s College Hinganghat, inspired the students to raise their voice against injustice. The activity  was taken under the guidance of Principal  Dr Umesh Tulskar. Conducting the program Prof. Shital Dharmik, while introduced this program by Prof. By Monika Mauskar. Prof. Darshana Rendhe thanked everyone present. For the success of the program, all the  faculty and non-teaching staff and students of Matoshri Ashatai Kunawar Arts, Commerce and Science Women’s College, Hinganghat.
