Event Briefs

Raksha Bandhan programme was organized by the Cultural Department of Matoshri Aashatai Kunawar Arts, Commerce, and Science Women’s College, Hinganghat. As part of this initiative, a visit was made to the Depot Manager’s Office in Hinganghat, where the festival was celebrated with the staff and the Depot Manager. Total of 25 girl students participated in the program. The students tied rakhis to the staff and the Depot Manager, conveying a valuable message of social bonding. The rakhis tied by the students were handmade by them, emphasizing the “Earn and Learn” concept.The Depot Manager addressed the students and explained the significance of Raksha Bandhan. He also appreciated the efforts of the students. The Principal of the college, Dr. Umesh Tulsakar, encouraged the students to actively participate in such programmes. The students were guided by Miss Sangita Landge, Head of the Cultural Department; Miss Meenakshi Jidgilwar, member of the Cultural Department; Asha Ghate, Head of the Home Economics Department; and Miss Meenakshi Pawade, Head of the Sociology Department. Miss Sangita Landge madam, Head of the Cultural Department, expressed gratitude to all the staff members and the Depot Manager.
