Celebration of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti at Matoshri Aashtai Kunawar Women’s College.At Matoshri Aashtai Kunawar Arts, Commerce and Science Women’s College, Hinganghat, the joint initiative of the Cultural Department and the National Service Scheme (NSS) organized a celebration to mark the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, and Lal Bahadur Shastri, the great leader known for his simplicity and greatness.The program was presided over by Principal Dr. Umesh Tulsakar, with the presence of Vice-Principal Dr. Sapna Jaiswal, NSS Programme Officer Prof. Bhagyashri Sable, Head of the Cultural Department Prof. Sangita Landge, and Prof. Abhay Dandekar.The event began with garlanding the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri as a mark of respect.On this occasion, Principal Dr. Umesh Tulsakar guided the students, emphasizing the noble thoughts and philosophies of both great leaders. Vice-Principal Dr. Sapna Jaiswal highlighted the life and work of Mahatma Gandhi and elaborated on Lal Bahadur Shastri’s famous slogan “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan.”The program was conducted by Prof. Bhagyashri Sable, NSS Programme Officer, and a vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. Sangita Landge, Head of the Cultural Department.All teaching and non-teaching staff contributed to the successful organization of the event.
