On 8th July 2024Matoshri Ashatai Kunawar women’s college organised “Tree plantation and environmental conservation” program marks the beginning of a new academic session.

The event was held to emphasize the importance of trees in human life and to promote environmental conservation. The chief guests included Dr. Umesh Tulaskar, Principal of Matoshri Women’s college, Dr. Sapana Jaishwal, Vice Principal, and other dignitaries from various educational institutions.The Botany Department’s Head, Prof Darshana Rendhe, and Prof Harshada Raut were also present. The Botany Department and Nature Club jointly organized the event, which was supported by all faculty members, staff, and students of the college. The article highlights the significance of trees in our lives and the need to plant more trees to reduce pollution, global warming, and maintain ecological balance.
