Event Objectives

To get information about Working and Handling of various Instruments as well as Equipments used in Laboratories of Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany.

Event Outcomes

1. To know the Teaching & non-teaching faculties of respective subjects about various Instruments and Equipments.

2. To get updated about handling of various Equipments.

3. To know the working of various Equipments that will be useful for demonstrating Practicals in Zoology, Botany, Physics and Chemistry.

Event Briefs

Every year before the Starting of new Session, Department of Science in Matoshri Ashatai Kunawar Arts, Commerce & Science Women’s College, Hinganghat organizes “Technical Workshop on Instrumental Handling” for the teaching faculties of Science. In the current session, Department of Science sends their faculties for performing the Hands-on training cum workshop on Instrumental Handling in Tulaskar College of Pharmacy, Hinganghat. The workshop was carried out on 18th and 19th July 2025. Prof. Anju Tanna and Prof. Rakesh Joshi from Pharmacy College gave the hands-on training and demo of Various Instruments related to respective subjects.

 

There were various instruments in Tulaskar Institute of Pharmacy for eg., Laminar Air Flow, BOD Incubator, Distillation unit, Autoclave, Dessicator, Bulk Density Apparatus, pH meter, Digital Flame Photometer, Glucometer, Haemocytometer, Haemometer, Hotplate, Lab Stirrer, Magnetic Stirrer, Pulse Oxymeter, Plethososymograph, Rota Rod, Potentiometer etc. Most of these instruments have been used regularly for conducting routine practicals of Botany, Zoology, Chemistry and Physics. So, every teaching and no-teaching faculty of Science Department should have a proper knowledge about it.

On day 1, Prof. Anju Tanna gave hands-on training and provided information about necessary instruments. She also guided about lab safety rules.

On day 2, Prof. Rakesh Joshi from Pharmacy College had been taken the session. All the queries regarding workshop were solved by Prof. Anju Tanna and Prof. Rakesh Joshi and Prof. Raghatate from Tulaskar Institute of Pharmacy, Hinganghat. All the faculties enthusiastically participated and got hands-on training from expertise of Pharmacy College.
